Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for 500+ monthly patient invoices
- Resolve insurance claim denials and payment discrepancies within SLAs
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate charge capture
- Analyze aging reports and implement collection strategies
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
- Train staff on billing system updates and best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Expertise in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication skills for patient/stakeholder interactions
