Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end billing processes including invoice generation, payment application, and account reconciliation
- Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes with clients through proactive communication
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure accurate contract-to-billing alignment
- Maintain compliance with SOX controls and industry-specific billing regulations
- Analyze billing data to identify trends and process improvement opportunities
- Prepare monthly billing reports and variance analysis for leadership review
- Train junior staff on billing systems and best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of billing or accounts receivable experience in SaaS/tech
- Expertise in NetSuite, QuickBooks, or comparable billing platforms
- Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) or equivalent certification
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Experience with multi-currency billing and tax compliance
- Exceptional problem-solving and stakeholder management abilities
