Responsibilities
- Generate and distribute invoices accurately and promptly to clients.
- Monitor and manage the accounts receivable ledger to ensure up-to-date status.
- Reconcile billing statements and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and initiate collection processes.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes.
- Maintain organized and secure digital and physical records of billing transactions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a related finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
