Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with 99% accuracy
- Manage accounts receivable aging reports and collections
- Resolve billing discrepancies through client communication
- Utilize Epic and Meditech EHR systems for charge entry
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all billing documentation
- Analyze denial trends and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with clinical teams on charge capture
- Generate monthly billing performance metrics
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience in Wisconsin
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential preferred
- Expertise in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Advanced proficiency in Epic and Meditech platforms
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environment
- Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field
