- Process and submit insurance claims with 99.5% accuracy
- Reconcile accounts receivable reports monthly
- Investigate and resolve billing denials within 5 business days
- Train staff on billing system updates and compliance changes
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance reports
- Collaborate with coding department for CPT/ICD-10 alignment
- Conduct quarterly audits of billing documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or equivalent credential
- Expert knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding systems
- Proficiency in Epic and NextGen billing platforms
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication for patient/stakeholder interactions
- Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environment
