- Verify insurance eligibility and resolve billing discrepancies
- Reconcile accounts receivable and maintain financial records
- Collaborate with insurance providers for timely reimbursement
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and data security protocols
- Generate monthly billing reports and financial statements
- Train staff on billing procedures and best practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) or equivalent
- Proficiency in Epic EHR or similar billing systems
- Strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and insurance regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot table expertise
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
