Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile insurance claims with 98% accuracy across multiple payers
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies using Epic EMR systems
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all financial transactions and documentation
- Train staff on updated billing protocols and CMS regulations
- Generate monthly revenue cycle performance reports for leadership
- Collaborate with collections team on aging accounts receivable
Qualifications
- 3+ years medical billing experience with commercial insurance
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credentials required
- Advanced proficiency in Epic Resolute and NextGen systems
- Expert knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Proven ability to resolve complex payment denials
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Finance preferred
