Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to meet their banking needs.
- Cash checks, verify identification, and handle currency with strict adherence to security protocols.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, balance inquiries, and resolving routine issues.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell financial products and services to existing clients.
- Ensure the teller line operates smoothly by maintaining an organized workspace and cash drawer.
- Adhere to all bank policies, regulations, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
- Familiarity with banking software and POS systems is a plus.
