Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with account inquiries, providing a superior banking experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) and teller terminal systems efficiently and securely.
- Assist in opening new accounts and cross-selling our suite of financial products to existing clients.
- Balance the teller drawer at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Securely handle cash, checks, and negotiable instruments in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller, Cashier, or in customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong math skills with the ability to count cash quickly and accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse customers.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable transportation and a valid ID.
