Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth credit risk assessments for commercial and industrial loan applications
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, and industry trends
- Prepare comprehensive credit memoranda for loan committee review
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current with regulatory changes affecting lending practices
- Maintain accurate documentation in loan origination systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Expertise in cash flow analysis and collateral evaluation
- CFP, CMA, or similar designation preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of SBA lending programs
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in high-volume environment
