Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and account payments.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with account inquiries, product information, and service requests.
- Open new accounts and assist existing customers with account maintenance and closing.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to introduce customers to our suite of financial products, such as loans and credit cards.
- Adhere to all banking regulations, compliance policies, and security protocols to ensure the safety of funds and customer data.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Perform cash balancing and daily audit procedures at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of cash handling or customer service experience in a retail or banking environment.
- Strong knowledge of basic math and financial calculations.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Proficiency with computer systems and Point of Sale (POS) software.
- Must pass a background check and credit check as part of the hiring process.
