Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service to enhance client retention.
- Open new checking and savings accounts, explaining products and services clearly.
- Identify and cross-sell financial products, such as certificates of deposit (CDs) and IRAs.
- Maintain accurate daily cash drawers and reconcile branch reports.
- Assist with branch operations, lobby management, and digital banking support.
- Adhere to all federal and state banking regulations, including BSA/AML compliance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in customer service is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to count cash quickly and accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bank-specific software (e.g., FIS, Jack Henry).
- Must pass a background check and credit check as a condition of employment.
