Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting operations, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, company policies, and GAAP standards.
- Conduct variance analysis and assist the finance team with budget preparation and forecasting.
- Process payroll adjustments and maintain accurate personnel and financial records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex accounting discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines during night shifts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
