Responsibilities
- Perform daily general ledger accounting, journal entries, and month-end close procedures during night operations.
- Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Process payroll for night shift staff and ensure accurate timekeeping records.
- Prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements for management review.
- Assist with annual tax preparation and government compliance filings.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial documents for audit readiness.
- Collaborate with the day-shift finance team to ensure seamless operational continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2–3 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage 50) and Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Must be available to work the night shift on a full-time basis.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
