Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cashing checks, deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Greet customers with a smile and provide a superior level of customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to offer savings accounts, CDs, and other financial products to meet customer needs.
- Balance cash drawers and daily reports daily to ensure strict accuracy and compliance with bank policies.
- Resolve customer inquiries and troubleshoot account issues professionally and promptly.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and secure branch environment for both staff and customers.
- Adhere to all federal and state banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in cash handling, retail, or customer service is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated strong mathematical skills and extreme attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse clientele.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and bank operating software.
- Ability to pass a background check, credit check, and FBI fingerprinting.
