Job Summary
The Bank Teller is responsible for providing excellent service to our customers by handling daily transactions accurately and efficiently. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring their banking experience is seamless and positive.
Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments while adhering to strict bank policies and security protocols.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding account balances and services, and resolve issues with patience and professionalism.
- Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to recommend our suite of financial products, such as savings accounts, credit cards, and mortgages, to meet customer needs.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal control requirements.
- ATM Maintenance: Monitor and replenish ATM supplies, and resolve any machine errors or discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or related field is a plus.
- Experience: Prior experience in customer service or cash handling is preferred. Bank teller experience is a strong advantage.
- Skills: Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash accurately. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and banking software.
- Attributes: Excellent interpersonal communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of integrity.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
