Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cashing checks.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior customer service by answering questions and resolving account inquiries.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, such as debit cards, credit cards, and savings accounts, to meet sales goals.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with lobby operations, including opening new accounts and maintaining a clean and organized branch environment.
- Adhere to all federal and state banking regulations, security protocols, and bank policies at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Finance or related field is a plus.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Attention to detail and the ability to perform complex mathematical calculations quickly and accurately.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
