Responsibilities
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly and answer inquiries regarding accounts, products, and services.
- Ensure the security of cash and valuables by adhering to strict banking regulations.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to promote savings accounts, credit cards, and other financial products.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues with patience and professionalism.
- Assist with maintaining the lobby and teller area in a clean and organized manner.
- Perform daily cash balancing and reconciliation of the teller drawer.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous cash handling experience in a retail or banking environment is preferred.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash with high accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
