Responsibilities
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering questions, and resolving account inquiries.
- Assist customers with opening new accounts, setting up direct deposits, and using online banking tools.
- Monitor daily cash drawers to ensure accuracy and reconcile daily reports.
- Cross-sell bank products, such as credit cards and savings plans, to meet branch goals.
- Maintain strict adherence to all banking security and compliance regulations.
- Keep the teller line moving smoothly and maintain a professional appearance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills (30+ WPM).
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Previous customer service or retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and a history of punctuality.
- Ability to obtain necessary banking security clearances.
