Responsibilities
- Process daily cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, with accuracy and efficiency.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior service by answering inquiries regarding accounts, products, and services.
- Accurately balance cash drawers and reconcile daily reports to ensure financial integrity.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products, such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards, to meet customer needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure branch environment in compliance with all banking regulations and security protocols.
- Assist in opening new accounts and processing necessary paperwork for clients.
- Collaborate with the branch manager and team members to achieve daily sales and service goals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; prior experience in retail, customer service, or banking is a plus.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid California ID.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy in cash handling and data entry.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Must pass a background check and credit check as per banking standards.
