Responsibilities
- Process daily customer transactions accurately, including cashing checks, processing deposits, and withdrawals.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, resolving issues efficiently and professionally.
- Cash checks and maintain accurate daily cash drawer balances and reconcile statements.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, such as loans and credit cards, to meet branch sales goals.
- Maintain strict compliance with all banking regulations, security protocols, and bank policies.
- Open new accounts for clients and assist with account maintenance tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in a customer service role handling cash is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform complex calculations accurately and quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and a credit check as required by banking regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and bank teller software systems.
