Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Provide superior customer service by answering inquiries and resolving account-related issues efficiently.
- Assist customers with opening new accounts, setting up direct deposits, and utilizing digital banking services.
- Maintain strict adherence to banking regulations, compliance standards, and internal security protocols.
- Balance cash drawers and resolve discrepancies on a daily basis.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services to meet individual customer needs.
- Collaborate with the branch team to ensure a smooth and welcoming branch environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience in a retail or financial setting is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with high levels of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and a credit check.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Windows and banking software.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
