Responsibilities
- Cash Handling: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cash checks while adhering to strict banking regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide superior service to both new and existing customers by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting bank products.
- Transaction Balancing: Maintain daily cash drawers and reconcile end-of-day reports to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Product Sales: Identify cross-sell opportunities for savings accounts, credit cards, and other financial services to meet branch goals.
- Security Compliance: Follow all security protocols and Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines to prevent fraud and money laundering.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with branch maintenance, filing, and other operational duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Previous cash handling or customer service experience in a retail or banking environment is highly desirable.
- Skill Set: Strong mathematical skills and the ability to work with financial software (e.g., Core Banking Systems).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Integrity: Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in financial matters.
- Availability: Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
