Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of new and existing clients to assess creditworthiness and risk exposure.
- Prepare and present comprehensive credit memos, risk assessments, and recommendation reports to the credit committee.
- Monitor and review customer account activity to identify potential delinquencies and recommend appropriate remedial actions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date credit files, including financial statements and collateral documentation.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide credit support during the onboarding of new commercial accounts.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory standards.
- Utilize financial modeling techniques to forecast future performance and trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, or commercial banking.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of financial statements, ratio analysis, and cash flow modeling.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting purposes.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for client meetings if required.
