Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions with precision and efficiency including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through personalized financial advice and product recommendations
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly with empathy and professionalism
- Balance cash drawers and maintain accurate transaction records daily
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for premium banking products and services
- Adhere to strict security protocols and regulatory compliance standards
- Collaborate with branch team to achieve service and sales targets
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail banking or customer service role
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals
- Strong cash handling experience with 100% reconciliation accuracy
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
- Proficiency with banking software and digital platforms
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations
- Valid California Notary Public commission (or willingness to obtain)
