Responsibilities
- Cash Handling: Accurately process cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing transactions while maintaining strict cash drawer accuracy.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding account balances and services, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Product Sales: Cross-sell our financial products, including savings accounts, CDs, and loan services, to meet branch goals.
- Transactions: Verify signatures, update account information, and process loan payments and wire transfers.
- Security: Adhere to all bank security protocols and compliance regulations to protect customer assets.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and assist with balancing the night deposit bag.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Previous cash handling or customer service experience is a plus, but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Skills: Strong math skills with the ability to handle large sums of money with high precision.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Technology: Proficiency with basic computer operations and POS systems.
- Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by the branch.
