Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments for customers.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent service to customers by answering questions and resolving account issues efficiently.
- Cash Management: Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Sales Support: Identify cross-selling opportunities for our suite of financial products and services.
- Compliance: Adhere to all banking regulations, security protocols, and internal policies.
- Problem Solving: Assist in resolving customer complaints and escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Banking is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience as a bank teller, cashier, or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Skills: Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle large sums of cash with 100% accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Technology: Proficiency with POS systems, teller software, and basic computer applications.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
