Your Role:
As a Bank Teller, you will be responsible for accurately processing a variety of financial transactions while maintaining the highest level of security and compliance. You will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, answering inquiries and offering solutions to meet their financial needs.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide professional customer service to build lasting relationships.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote bank products and services to meet branch sales goals.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions with precision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and security protocols.
- Assist in opening new accounts and processing account closures when necessary.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance or related field is a plus.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience in a banking or retail environment is preferred.
- Strong numerical skills with the ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs as needed.
- Familiarity with bank software and point-of-sale systems is a significant advantage.
