Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide professional, friendly, and efficient customer service at the teller window.
- Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile ATM and night depository totals to ensure accuracy.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and introduce customers to new banking products and services.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and secure branch environment.
- Handle cash and non-cash transactions while adhering to all banking regulations and security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; some college or banking experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service or cash handling is highly desirable.
- Strong mathematical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new banking software systems quickly.
