Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior service to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services to enhance customer relationships and meet sales goals.
- Maintain accurate records of all daily transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of the shift.
- Adhere to all banking regulations, security protocols, and internal policies to ensure the safety of assets and customer information.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, balance inquiries, and resolving service issues.
- Collaborate with the branch team to ensure smooth daily operations and a welcoming branch atmosphere.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; prior banking or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills with a high degree of accuracy in cash handling.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer proficiency is preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to pass a background check and credit check.
- A valid driver's license may be required for occasional branch travel.
