Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Cash checks and verify customer identification documents in strict compliance with federal banking regulations.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily settlement reports to ensure total accuracy.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, financial product information, and digital banking setup.
- Proactively identify and cross-sell banking products, such as savings accounts and credit cards, to meet branch performance goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming branch environment for all visitors.
- Collaborate with branch management and staff to resolve customer issues and improve service delivery.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform complex calculations quickly and accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to adhere to security protocols and compliance regulations.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and bank-specific software (e.g., FIS, Murex).
