Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Build strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and answering account inquiries.
- Assist with the sales of bank products, such as savings accounts and credit cards.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Identify and cross-sell banking products to meet customer needs and bank goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all bank security and compliance policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree in finance or business is a plus.
- Previous experience as a bank teller or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) software.
- Must pass a background check and a credit check.
