Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service to ensure a positive banking experience.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding account balances, products, and services.
- Balance cash drawers and resolve any discrepancies using automated systems.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products, such as CDs and savings accounts, to meet branch goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all security and compliance policies.
- Assist in opening new accounts for customers and processing necessary paperwork.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or banking experience is a plus.
- Previous cash handling experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash with high accuracy.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems, including basic knowledge of MS Office and banking software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on detail.
- Must pass a background check and credit check as required by the bank.
