Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with 100% accuracy
- Build trust by proactively identifying opportunities to recommend appropriate banking products (accounts, credit cards, loans)
- Resolve account discrepancies and customer concerns efficiently using problem-solving techniques
- Adhere to strict security protocols and regulatory compliance standards (BSA, AML)
- Maintain organized branch records and assist with end-of-day reconciliation procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless branch operations and positive customer experiences
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and service skills
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cash handling or customer service experience in a financial setting preferred
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail with transaction accuracy
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex financial concepts simply
- Proficiency in banking software and basic Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and occasional evenings
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in finance or business a plus
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- FBI fingerprint clearance and passing background check required
