Responsibilities
- Process daily customer transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving account issues, and promoting our banking products and services.
- Build lasting relationships with customers through proactive communication and a welcoming demeanor.
- Assist in the daily balancing of the teller drawer and ensure compliance with all bank security and audit procedures.
- Identify and refer cross-selling opportunities to account officers to help customers achieve their financial goals.
- Collaborate with the branch team to meet daily and monthly sales and service targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, retail, or banking is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check, credit check, and drug screening.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and cash registers.
