Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior customer service to resolve inquiries and address concerns.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, balance transfers, and setting up new services.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs and branch sales goals.
- Maintain accurate daily cash reconciliation and ensure compliance with banking regulations and security protocols.
- Collaborate with the branch manager and team to maintain a professional and organized workspace.
- Handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism, escalating complex issues when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior banking experience is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions with high accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport with diverse groups of customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of banking products and services is highly desirable.
