Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling, deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues.
- Open new accounts and assist customers with understanding various banking products and services.
- Maintain the accuracy of the cash drawer and prepare daily reports and reconciliations.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to meet branch sales goals.
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Assist with lobby operations and maintaining a welcoming branch environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in a customer-facing financial role is preferred but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail with the ability to handle cash accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and bank software systems.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
