Responsibilities
- Execute daily financial transactions accurately, including cashing checks, processing deposits, and withdrawals.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving account-related issues efficiently.
- Cross-sell banking products and services to meet individual and branch sales goals.
- Maintain the accuracy of the teller drawer and reconcile daily cash counts.
- Assist customers with account applications, loan inquiries, and digital banking setup.
- Adhere to all regulatory compliance standards and bank policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior banking or cash-handling experience is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash accurately under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and bank software (e.g., FIS, Jack Henry).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting cash bags.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
