Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash withdrawals, deposits, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional face-to-face customer service.
- Maintain accurate daily cash balances and reconcile the teller drawer at the end of each shift.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services to meet branch sales goals.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure the teller line is organized, clean, and secure.
- Assist with lobby operations and handle routine banking tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous cash handling experience is preferred but not mandatory for immediate hires.
- Strong mathematical skills and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn banking software.
