Job Summary:
As a Bank Teller, you will be the face of our bank, responsible for providing excellent service and managing financial transactions efficiently. You will handle cash deposits, withdrawals, and account inquiries while ensuring strict compliance with banking regulations.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and resolving account issues with patience and professionalism.
- Cash drawers and reconcile daily reports to ensure 100% accuracy and balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services to meet branch sales goals.
- Protect bank assets by adhering to security protocols and fraud prevention measures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming work environment.
- Assist in the opening and closing of the branch, including security procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller, Teller Supervisor, or Cashier is highly preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) software.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
