Responsibilities
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing with precision and efficiency.
- Greet all customers warmly and provide exceptional service at the teller line.
- Proactively cross-sell bank products and services to meet individual and branch goals.
- Maintain accurate cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure total accuracy.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, form completion, and routine banking needs.
- Uphold strict adherence to bank security policies, compliance regulations, and anti-money laundering laws.
- Keep the teller station organized and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous cash handling, retail, or customer service experience is highly preferred.
- Strong mathematical aptitude with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Must successfully pass a background check and credit check.
