Responsibilities
- Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with accuracy and efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting financial products
- Balance cash drawers and maintain accurate transaction records daily
- Identify cross-sell opportunities for credit union services and refer members to specialists
- Adhere to security protocols, compliance regulations, and operational procedures
- Assist with branch operations including opening/closing procedures and end-of-day reconciliation
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and service skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in finance preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in cash handling or customer service role
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic proficiency with banking software and digital platforms
- Must pass background check and credit union training requirements
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays as needed
