Responsibilities
- Process routine customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
- Provide exceptional service by accurately answering customer inquiries about accounts and products
- Identify cross-sell opportunities for bank services and refer customers to specialists
- Maintain cash drawer accuracy and adhere to all security protocols
- Open new accounts, including checking, savings, and certificates of deposit
- Balance daily transactions and prepare end-of-day reports
- Participate in community outreach events to promote bank services
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year cash handling or customer service experience preferred
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Basic proficiency with banking software and Microsoft Office
- Fraud prevention and regulatory compliance knowledge
