Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with 100% accuracy
- Build trust by identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate banking products/services
- Maintain strict compliance with security protocols and anti-fraud procedures
- Balance cash drawer and daily transactions while meeting audit requirements
- Resolve customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to branch management
- Contribute to branch goals through cross-selling initiatives and community outreach
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cash handling or customer service experience in a financial setting
- Proven ability to maintain 100% accuracy in high-volume transaction environments
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Regulation CC, BSA) and security procedures
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport in diverse communities
- Proficiency with core banking systems and MS Office applications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
