Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with 100% accuracy
- Build trust through consultative selling of bank products (checking accounts, loans, credit cards)
- Resolve account discrepancies and customer inquiries with exceptional service standards
- Maintain strict compliance with banking regulations (BSA, AML) and security protocols
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions using core banking systems
- Actively participate in branch promotions and community outreach events
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve branch performance metrics
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year cash handling or customer service experience
- Strong proficiency in basic mathematics and financial terminology
- Proficient with digital banking platforms and transaction software
- Excellent verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours including weekends
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and clean background check
