Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Review and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization.
- Code and enter invoices into the accounting software (SAP/QuickBooks) in a timely manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Process payments via ACH, wire transfer, and check within agreed-upon payment terms.
- Assist with month-end closing processes, including accruals and financial reporting.
- Maintain organized filing systems for all financial records and invoices.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related finance roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is highly desirable.
- Strong mathematical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
