Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, coding, and approval before processing payments.
- Process weekly accounts payable transactions using our ERP system.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and financial data.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment status.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting support.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
