Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare accurate financial statements.
- Process payroll and assist with quarterly tax filings.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Assist with annual audits and year-end close procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding account status and billing.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable internet connection for remote/hybrid work flexibility.
