Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization.
- Reconcile accounts payable accounts and resolve billing discrepancies with vendors.
- Manage vendor relationships, including answering inquiries and setting up new accounts.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with year-end audits.
- Maintain accurate records in the AP system and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist the Accounting Manager with month-end close processes.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- 1-3 years of direct experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to meet weekly payroll deadlines consistently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
