Responsibilities
- Process and verify all incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness before payment authorization.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records in our financial software.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on outstanding payables and cash flow.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
